In the construction industry, we talk a lot about foundations—soil density, concrete psi and structural steel. But the most important foundation I’ve ever known wasn’t poured on a job site; it was instilled in me by the first Waterman before me: Jeremy Waterman. He was the one who kept my eyes on the prize. He reminded me that the process of building yourself up is no different than the buildings we raise across Texas. He taught me that life will bring storms, and God’s tests will beat down on your house—but if your house is "Built on the Rock," it will not fall.
